Although we get our three points,but we need to improve much more to keep pace with Villa.Our attacks is boring and predictable.We missed couple of chances and fortunately Pompey's counter-attack wasn't really that good.So,the chances of us lost the game is minimal but with our style,we could only get away with a point for the most.

By the way,Portsmouth's target in this game was only a draw I think.Their play was weak,their attack was dead and they also parked a bus in front of their goal.

We must know how to handle these type of trouble to excel in EPL.

We must play our attacking game,and reduce Portsmouth's attacking chances to minimum.4-4-1-1 seems to be good for us,based on the Villa's game although we drew the game.But I still think normal 4-4-2 is the best formation for us.But the most important think is we must have the confidence to win the game.We have the skills but psychological and physical wise we are quite behind compared to other big teams our there.

To be frank,if we drop points again this time we will even struggle to just get a miserable 4th place.

Just play our normal game.Our playing style has been known as giant killer and if we play our style the three points will be quite easy to us.

As Liverpool can STILL afford a draw than we do,if the scoreline is equal for both team at 80th minute onwards,I do think they will play more defensively and of course they will try to counter-attack.They have lots of tall players,a great shooter Steven Gerrard.So,their counter-attack will be dangerous.Besides,we are physically disadvantaged so any corners and free-kick will be very dangerous.

But with our fluent passing,we can win this game.We can try to keep the ball on the ground and demonstrate how deadly our passing attack could be.Arsenal's record against Liverpool were quite good and I do think this is related to our playing style.

About the Champions League revenge for us,I don't think that's necessary.We must beat them,regardless of everything.Even we beat Liverpool at that time,we must beat them tomorrow and defeat them in the future.

Standard of teams in BPL have improved leaps and bounds and we are still in transition period.How long the transition period could be??5 years?10 years?Anybody know??It has been 3 years and we are having nothing in our silverware list.

Yes,it's arguable that we didn't really win anything before Wenger arrives here.In fact,back in that time we would be very happy if we qualify to play UEFA Cup.But again,we must strive for improvement.We can't compare with the past.If everyone thinks like that then we are doomed.

Of course,our team have improved based on Boro game.But is it enough to bring us sliverware(s)?What I mean here is silverware,FA Cup,Champions League,EPL title.Beautiful games must be decorated with wins and victories.Without them,no one will remember our beautiful passing game.

For how many times we are complaining how our defence fared badly against smaller teams who loves to park a bus in front of their goal and put one striker in front.Even with such formation,they could eke out a draw or even sometimes a win over us.How ridiculous it could be?

But that problem have existed for 2-3 years and it still happens now. I really can't say a word about them.

It seems that our title challenge is almost over,but fortunately Liverpool and Manchester United too dropped points and Scolari can be very happy over this news,since Blues can take this chance to step into first place in EPL.

Talking about the game,the same stories went again this time just like our previous games in Riverside.We attacked,dominated the game but struggled to score and failed to defend against Boro's counter-attacks.

We could lost 2-1,we could win 2-1 but overall Boro really played well against us.We were not creative enough in the game and the fact that both goals were scored by a cross-header showed that both teams were lucky to score a goal in that case.

Our game is not open enough to let the our passes work perfectly and that is why we struggle to score in recent games.Persie seemed to lose his scoring boots and could not show up in critical times for the excepting in Chelsea game.

We must have a player like Steven Gerrard who could save us during critical times.Our leader Fabregas must be good enough to command 11 players including himself and create the winning factor,or confidence to win games.

I certainly think that Bendtner should feature as a substitute only,for his form as striker is bad and he plays better as a substitute.But I still trust Eboue on this game.Gallas seems to be leaving on January with his current form.He should be stop playing for us but we have no choice because we need some strong and experienced player to stand and defend against violent teams in BPL.

Overall

Despite the game lost,we qualify to knock-out stage.I think there is very little or no disadvantage of finishing second.Even we top the group,we still have the possibility of drawing strong teams like Real Madrid,Inter Milan and Lyon.

About the second game at home if we finish top,it don't really matter if we play our home game well.For example if we managed to win 2-0 at home in first league,and score a goal in second league,we are positioned very well to beat our opponent for they will have to score 4 goals in order to beat us.

So,our home performance is more important in this case.A goal conceded at home could be a disaster.

Talking about the game,we don't need a pundit to see our team playing poorly.A 3 years old kid could see we were in trouble yesterday.We lost the ball easily,we let Porto sprang a very dangerous counter-attack and our attack seemed to be destined to fail.

This will be a tough away game,so 4-5-1 formation should be better since we need to strengthen our defence and midfield area.Again,Eboue should play at right back.Letting him playing in left back like the Wigan's game is like giving chicken to someone who likes duck.

I hope Persie will do well with this formation.Bendtner could replace him if his form is not too good.Bendtner is better with long balls since he's taller,and therefore he has more aerial advantage.

Overall

This game is not really important since we are qualified to knock-out stage already.We don't really need to win this game,a draw is enough to send us to win the Group G.

All the Big Four team got all their three points,so there were no surprise last weekend.Arsenal and Manchester United both won with a narrow 1-0 margin over Wigan and Sunderland respectively.Liverpool beat Blackburn 3-1,and Chelsea beat Bolton 2-0.

The happiest team last weekend would be Aston Villa who scored an extraordinary a very last minute winning goal after being conceded an equaliser at 90+3rd minute.They also put an impressive BPL record this season by scoring the fastest goal in BPL this season.They won 3-2 against Everton.

Hull City came behind from 1-0 deficit to a 2-1 win over Middlesbrough.Portsmouth held by a draw by West Brom.

Man. City again got held to a point by Fulham.Newcastle drew 2-2 with Stoke City.West Ham on the other hand will face Tottenham at home tonight.

There were concerning signs of a previous lethargy in the opening few minutes. Despite having been beaten 3-0 in the Carling Cup on November 11, Wigan showed admirable ambition.

In the opening minutes a shot from Wilson Palacios was diverted on by Emile Heskey and Almunia had to re-adjust to save low to his left.

Games turn on such incidents and Arsenal would make Wigan pay in the 16th minute, albeit with a touch of good fortune.

Cesc Fabregas prodded a regulation ball forward which seemed to go through Alex Song and his marker Titus Bramble on the edge of the area. Adebayor was waiting just behind them and had the simple job of collecting then stroking a shot past Chris Kirkland. A gift of a goal.

Van Persie nearly added another soon afterwards but Emmerson Boyce blocked his shot. However the Dutchman claimed the Barbados international had nudged him as he burst into the area.

Despite that Arsenal were not at their best. It was not exactly a poor performance just rather flat and lacking in invention.

Just before the half-hour, Almunia had to make another fine save from Antonio Valencia. The Ecuadorian had been flagged offside before he stole in at the far post to meet Ryan Taylor’s free-kick but that the keeper did not know that at the time.

A couple of minutes later Samir Nasri was replaced by Emmanuel Eboue. Earlier the Frenchman had been subject to a clattering challenge from Palacios. As a result, Nasri received treatment, the Honduran received a yellow card.

The change left Arsenal somewhat unbalanced in midfield and that was in keeping with their display. The home side had the goal but they hardly were dominating proceedings.

Two minutes before the break, Adebayor slammed an effort high over the bar. Along with the goal, Van Persie’s blocked shot and an early Nasri drive, that was the sum total their first-half chances. It was hardly the overwhelming Arsenal of old.

However, in injury time they did carve out another clear-cut chance. Denilson raced down the right and cut the ball back for Adebayor. His rasping low shot was touched onto the post by Kirkland. It would have been harsh on Wigan had it gone in.

The visitors started the second half on the front foot. Taylor fizzed a free-kick through a crowded area and then Emile Heskey nodded weakly at Almunia from five yards when he should have scored.

Arsenal were stung and the crowd were becoming restless. The team reacted with Van Persie firing wide and Bacary Sagna’s header forcing Kirkland into action at the near post.

Just before the hour, Wigan claimed a penalty when Toure challenged Henri Camara in the area but referee Steve Bennett was unmoved. Arsenal went up the other end and nearly scored. Denilson won the ball on the right and passed square to Van Persie. The Dutchman won himself a little space and curled a low shot inches past Kirkland’s right-hand post. A wonderful piece of work.

Van Persie was now Arsenal’s main attacking outlet. In the 63rd minute he waltzed around Bramble only to be hauled down by Lee Cattermole on the edge of the area. The 25-year-old took the free-kick himself and fired it just over the bar.

For the first time in the game, Arsenal were exerting real control and in the 65th minute they were nearly rewarded when Denilson hammered a shot against the post from the edge of the area.

However Wigan were not finished. Heskey’s near-post header was diverted wide. The resulting corner fell to Mario Melchiot eight yards out and the veteran defender sent in a powerful shot on the turn. Almunia threw himself at the ball and clawed it away from point-blank range. A stunning stop.

Suddenly the game had found its spark. Adebayor had two excellent chances to get the killer second and, following a scramble from a corner, Sagna volleyed wastefully wide.

However Arsenal were still finding it impossible to keep Wigan at bay. With 16 minutes left, Heskey found Valencia in space of the right and he slashed his shot wide.

By now, Steve Bruce had brought on striker Amr Zaki as he pushed for an equaliser. As dangerous as the visitors were, Arsenal remained the side more likely to score. In the dying minutes a Fabregas corner nearly crept in at the near post.

But, with the score at 1-0, Wigan still had hope and desire. In the 90th minute, Heskey powered a header a few inches over the bar.

The visitors continued to press and Arsenal endured a nerve-jangling three minutes of injury time.

When the whistle came, it was a blessed relief but, from an Arsenal perspective, the points were secure.

Despite the three points,we didn't put in our real strength.The last 20 minutes showed how weak our team in midfield.Eboue kept making mistakes,and we should be lucky that Wigan did not punish us for that.Had they scored a goal,we will disappoint most people in Emirates.

Fortunately for this time,Ade did take at least 1 chance correct and considered as a goal.

Since we are at home,have lots of striking and strikers options available,we could play our usual 4-4-2.Again,we should be more and more careful against their corners and free-kicks.

Wigan could park a bus in front of their goal,so we must keep the game open and we should try one-timer kick instead of dribbling the ball into the net.Chelsea stroke a lot of one-time header and shot and we should be very lucky to concede only one goal.This one-timer kicks and heads is one skills we should master to enhance our football.We can't pass all the time and play only one style of football all the time.We can't eat breads only all the time,right??

Overall

Again,home pressure is here but I really hope Gunners could pick more points against smaller teams and this game must and should a 3 points for us.It's infuriating to see us beat all giant team and yet getting beaten by all small teams.

Unfortunately Arsenal were caught cold after five minutes. Sixty seconds after Bendtner had forced his way into the box only to prod the ball at Jensen's legs, Burnley took the lead. Chris Eagles slung over a low cross from the right flank, Lukasz Fabianski failed to cling on under pressure from Martin Paterson, and McDonald side-footed the rebound into an empty net.

After running riot in their two previous ties, the Arsenal kids were behind for the first time in the competition. This would be a test of their mettle.

They responded well. Five minutes after his first chance, Bendtner latched onto Vela's clever flick and shrugged off the attentions of Steven Caldwell but, once again, his finish lacked conviction and Jensen blocked gratefully. Merida tested the Dane with a dipping volley shortly afterwards but, after a promising spell, Arsenal got careless.

Aaron Ramsey, Randall and Rodgers all lost possession in dangerous areas and Burnley, looking every inch the promotion hopefuls they are, should have taken advantage. With the impressive Eagles offering a lively outlet on the right, Paterson finding space up front and wily old Robbie Blake in support, the hosts carved out a handful of decent chances. Eagles saw his shot deflect into the side-netting, Paterson shot straight at Fabianski and the same man almost snaffled a rebound after Fabianski - uncharacteristically - spilled another effort.

The game could have been over after that spell but, to Arsenal's relief, it wasn't. The visitors set about restoring parity but, not for the first time, found Jensen blocking their path. Just after the half-hour mark the Burnley keeper stood up well to block a fierce shot from Randall after a wonderful flick from Bendtner left the midfielder through on goal in acres of space. Four minutes later Jensen denied Vela in yet another one-on-one. Burnley's hero in their penalty shoot-out at Chelsea was the headline act again.

The attacking philosophy of both teams had made for a watchable first half and that continued after the break. But only one team was taking its chances - and it wasn't Arsenal.

Once again, the hosts scored shortly after the visitors should have done. Merida's jinking run into the box bewildered three defenders but his finish curled just wide of an upright. At the other end, McDonald's own curling shot landed just inside an upright to leave Fabianski beaten again. Arsenal had been caught napping from a quickly-taken throw on the right, giving McDonald the chance to scamper clear of Randall. Ultimately the Burnley man's clinical finishing had made the difference.

Wenger brought on Simpson - scorer of a brace in the previous round - and he was quickly into the action, firing a shot straight at Jensen after the ball had broken for him just inside the box. But gaps were appearing at the other end and Paterson should have put the tie to bed when Blake's cross picked him out at the far post. Paterson couldn't get enough purchase on his header and Fabianski parried before clutching the rebound.

Arsenal's youngsters kept their heads up and continued to play their football, but Burnley kept them at bay. No matter. On the evidence of this season's competition, Arsenal's Carling Cup kids have the potential to become Premier League regulars.

We did not take our chances well,and obviously we were unlucky yesterday.All our shots just went to goalkeeper's body.The game was quite balanced as well,and Burnley had slight domination in first-half.

In second-half,we played better but again we did not take our chances well.Burnley again exploited our carelessness and punished us with the second goal.Our kids now should be more careful after receiving two McDonald's th-reat.

We can't compare this game with our game against Blues.This game was completely controlled by our youth who are different with our first team.Only three of first team players were there yesterday.

This is not our day.And congratulations to Burnley and I hope they could be promoted to BPL by next season.

We gained back our hope in title race after Persie miraculously scored 2 goals in 3 minutes to make us the second team to win at Stamford Bridge after Liverpool.

Liverpool should be able to get all the three points against Hammers tonight,and we could lose our 4th place anytime since A.Villa is just a point away from us.

Aston Villa dropped points again against Fulham at home,Hull City made a narrow 1-0 win against Stoke.

Roy Keane,manager of Sunderland admits that he could exit Sunderland prior to recent poor performance of his team.And last Saturday's 4-1 lost to Bolton at Stadium of Light further embarrassed his team.

Red Devils too made a narrow 1-0 win against their derby Man. City.However,they paid a heavy price in that match when Ronaldo was sent out and could face 3 matches suspension.

Portsmouth made a comeback from 2-1 deficit to a 2-3 win against Blackburn.

Summary of the game

in the 14th minute, they would create the clearest chance in the first quarter of the game.

Adebayor had time and space on the right to place his cross to the far post. He found Fabregas, whose shot was kicked away by Petr Cech. As the ball flew out of the area, Gallas narrowly missed the opportunity to turn the ball home.

Fabregas would test the Chelsea keeper again almost immediately but, overall, the visitors’ flurry would be brief.

Almunia had to kick clear as Kalou sprinted through. Then, in the 24th minute, Bosingwa sent over a sharp cross to the near post and Lampard’s bullet header was gratefully clutched by the keeper.

Chelsea were starting to turn the screw. However their opening goal would be more down to Arsenal than the home side.

In fairness, its origins were unlucky. On the half-hour Gallas was harshly adjudged to have fouled Kalou inside the D. Michael Ballack took the free-kick and saw his effort deflected wide for a corner.

Almunia confidently caught Lampard’s effort at the far post but his quick throw towards Nasri on the left was misdirected. Chelsea collected the ball easily and, eventually, Bosingwa sent over a low ball towards the near post that the sliding Djourou turned it into his own net.

Only a superb challenge stopped Anelka from doubling Chelsea’s advantage straight afterwards as Arsenal began to wobble.

In fairness Van Persie forced a fine low save from Cech soon afterwards and then Fabregas fired in another effort from distance. However, Chelsea seemed to be playing with something to spare.

Anelka nearly extended their lead twice in the dying minutes of the half. First when he steered a stumbling header wide then, after Clichy’s error, the striker went clear only to make a hash of his effort.

The start of the second half saw Chelsea nearly extend their lead. In the 51 minute, Kalou tried to feed Anelka but the backtracking Clichy could only tee the ball up for Lampard who swept the ball wide from the edge of the area.

Arsenal needed something inspirational – a piece of skill, a piece of luck, an injustice - anything to lift their game.

And, right on cue, they got it.

On 58 minutes, Chelsea failed to clear their lines and Denilson tapped a pass forward to Van Persie on the edge of the area. The Dutchman looked to be offside – a replay proved he was – but that did not prevent him slamming the ball high in the net.

It was a lifeline and Arsenal grabbed it with both hands and hauled themselves back into the game.

Three minutes after the first goal, Arsenal got a second. Song was fouled by Kalou on the left and Fabregas floated the ball into the area. Adebayor headed it down and Van Persie, running away from goal, reversed a shot through a thicket of legs, beyond Cech’s left hand and into the corner of the net.

An unbelievable comeback that had arrived just when Chelsea seemed set to hammer home their advantage.

Van Persie even attempted to complete a 10-minute hat-trick but his free-kick flew high over the bar.

However, Scolari’s side were far from spent. They would launch an assault on the Arsenal goal in the latter stages.

But it would be based around possession and pot-shots. Almunia was barely troubled and, indeed, Denilson nearly added a third at the death on the break.

Comments on this game

It was a shock that we won the game.In the first-half we were completed dominated and our attacks or possession just can't execute.We did have some attack but those kind of attack will not trouble Petr Cech.Chelsea on the other hand,just kept hammering on our goals.

We were lucky that they actually failed to create any goal.It's our small mistake that allowed us to be 1-0 down at 31st minute.

In first 10 minutes in second-half,it become worse.It seemed that we had lost the hope of an equaliser,and what's our target in the game is stop Chelsea from scoring 2nd and 3rd goal.

But just one good play,we equalised the goal and 3 minutes later we were ahead in the game.Scolari will need some good time to accept such a shock.

After these two goals,we were awarded psychological boost now.Our passes worked more beautifully,our players could tackle better and we gained more possession from frustrated Blues.

And then it was our three points at Stamford Bridge.

Sagna,Adebayor and Nasri are available for this match after recovering from their respective injuries.Chelsea on the other hand will miss Drogba,Belleti and Carvalho.

Technical Talks

This could be a physical game too,so we must be prepared for that.And we could employ 4-4-2 formation now since our strikers are back in shape.Of course,if we happened to be the defending team like our game against Man. United then we could employ 4-5-1 formation.Midfield is the most important element in football.It's the bridge between strikers and defenders.So we can't lose the midfield.

Psychological wise,we are gaining ground since we beat Dynamo Kyiv and Chelsea drew Bordeux.However,we are still the underdog in this game.So it would be an uphill battle.

Overall

Chelsea's home record under Scolari had not been good as compared to Jose,with their recent lost to Liverpool and Barnley(after penalty shoot-out).But we are the worst in terms of home record among the Big Four.

Despite our win,we did not really created a lot of chances and Kyiv's defence had been very tight and it's quite a job to find some flaw in their defence.Instead,Kyiv could score a goal from Gallas' mistake.That mistake could easily cost us two or three points to us.

But I think Kyiv's mission at Emirates was just to get a point.It's not easy playing away games in Champions League,with different climate all over Europe.With winter coming close,one can play football in a place below freezing point.

A lot of thing have happened for the last three days;three goals,Gallas' return,and Fabregas' new task and commitment at Arsenal.Seriously,only Arsenal will let a such a young player to be a captain.But he's the among the oldest and veterans among the kids anyway.

Ok,let's get back to topic.I have been busy all these days and I didn't really know Gunners as much as I did few months ago.But since I will be free for at least a month,I will have more time to update this site.

This match will be a chance for us to prove that we are still one of the Big Fours in BPL.Our form in BPL had been really frustrated every Arsenal fans here.Besides,this will be the first time Fab will wear our captain badge,and we will see whether he could repair our deteriorating form.

Sorry for the late match preview.I'm quite busy remaking my site now.

The Gallas' news seemed to make this match more uninteresting for Gooners,but more interesting to our rival's supporters.

Why Gallas add more troubles to our troubled team???It seems that he love to see Arsenal in deep problem.Perhaps he wants to make some excuses to leave Arsenal.

Suspension,injuries and morale haunt us all together.I think this is the ever biggest crisis that Wenger experienced since he took over Gunners in 1996.

Our team now is weak,weak and can easily broken up by anyone.Everyone dares to beat us now.

THe only way to counter this is win,and more wins in BPL.Only 3 points in this match can shut the critics,at least for now.

I will not make any prediction on our games anymore.Arsenal is SO unpredictable.

Again and again,we lacked the physical strength throughout the game.Although we did receive more yellow cards than them,but when it comes to free-kicks,corners,crosses or even throw-in,and whatever that requires height we were totally disadvantaged.

Take A.Villa's 2nd goal,I can't imagine if it was Walcott who played like Agbonlahor.He would probably get tackled,fouled or worst,injured.

Our team was disorganised,and we did not have proper plans to score.

I admit A.Villa was very determined to win this game,just like our determination to beat Devils last week.They employed the right strategy.Under Martin O'Neil as manager,Arsenal seemed to never beat them in Emirates.

We should woke up from the penalty threat,yet we didn't.

Strategies and Technical Talk

I don't think I can comment much here but I think we should play with 2 strikers instead of one.We have quite a number of strikers now we should utilise them.If we happen to be the defending team then we can use 4-5-1 to strengthen our midfield.If we get conceded first then we can open up the game so our passing can be more accurate and not easily stuck to our opponent's foot.

Overall

Although we did a good job last week against Man. United but I'm not still over confident on this match.We must beware of opponent's physical tactics and do our best from being injured or bullied by these players.Since my writing is quite weak and disorganised,I should stop now.However,I still think we could win on a small margin,2-1,1-0.

I have some comments over the yesterday's match.

On Gunners' performance

I guess determination made a lot of difference yesterday.The whole team was playing with their determination.They knew if they lost the game,they would be no longer challenge the title.The critics will sound louder,Wenger will be in sheer trouble.

Although they started rather nervously,the main fact that we were not punished by our opponent.If we were 1-0 down at first,things could be much harder.But with 2-0 cushion,our pressure was significantly reduced,although they were slightly scared of Tottenham repeat when they gave up 2 goals in less than 5 minutes.

Manchester United was less physical yesterday,and that really helped us to show our real skills and hence impress our fans and supporters.

On Samuel Nasri's goals

His two goals were really fantastic and that could be at least goal of the week.Although he could be lucky at his first goal,but his skill at 2nd goal was undeniably one of the best shot ever shown in Emirates.

Bendtner's performance

He did play his best,but the fact that he wanted to waste more time rather than securing the 3rd goal for us was really frustrating.He got lots of chances against Devils especially towards the extra time but he seemed to just waste time and has no intention to score his first goal against the defending champion.

Overall,our team really played their best yesterday and they got what they deserved.But I really hope our team could show more consistency and start beating the smaller teams who seems to play physical against us rather than playing the real football like yesterday's match.It seems that physical playing in EPL is perfectly fine,and we must face the music if we're not prepared against that.I'm scared if we injured the whole team in January and we will have to buy a team at that time.

First,I would like to let you know that my site IS NOT DEAD .

I will resume blogging as usual after 27th November,that means I will start posting for Chelsea-Arsenal match preview at 29th November.

I will update my sidebar,and possibly recolour my my site and getting traffic back to my site.

OK,back to the topic.

The recent statistic had shown Arsenal is in recession,and facing Devils at this time certainly will worry all the fans here and Wenger has to come out with a plan to prevent further embarrassment by Devils,after being bit by Hull Tigers and Stoke City.Injuries crisis and Persie's 3 match suspension further made our mission tomorrow an very steep,uphill task.

Even after this game,things will certainly be even more tougher and physical when we are going to face A.Villa,M.City,Dynamo Kiev and Chelsea in our next 4 games.

We did not really perform well so far,although we reluctantly admit that our schedule for last 5 to 6 games is the easiest among the other Top Three.Red Devils on the other hand,seems to have easier schedule than us since they played tougher teams before.

Even that,they are just a point above us with a game to spare.

To be frank,I'm not too optimistic about this game.I will be glad if we manage to reduce our loss.The main thing we need to fix now is our injuries crisis,player's morale and confidence.Of course if we could beat M.United tomorrow then we could gain back our confidence and shut our critics.

But injury problem,physical disadvantage will always haunt us if we keep employing small-sized players.I'm not against small-sized players but we need tough,big guys to stop us being bullied in such a physical EPL games.

Players can easily admit that they want to injure people,play aggressively without being punished by FA.

It was a big frustration for us to get beaten in just 2nd match in EPL.

Since the beginning of the match,our squad is disorganised and we seems to lose our direction.The worse is Gallas did not react quickly enough to clear the ball,and that cost us the game.

Fulham had a great counter-attack as well as defence,but I think if we could play better,or play our usual play that will be good enough to get at least,a goal.

Again,I think we need a bigger squad for this season.It's just a week after the season started and we're seem to have injury problem.

First,our injury list only consist of five players,Fabregas,Diaby,Rosicky,Eduardo and Senderos.These five players is among our top arsenal.However,I hope the remaining squad can do good enough to gain three points at Craven Cottage.

First,I would like to say sorry.I didn't post anything during the season break and I did not post any summer deals at Arsenal.We welcome Samuel Nasri and Carlos Vela as our new arsenal for this season,when the games will be more unpredictable with lots of players,especially the foreign ones to England.

Manchester United had not signed any good players so far,but I think they'll be glad with the fact that C.Ronaldo will stay with Devils for this season.Chelsea on the other hand,get the help of Philips Scolari,a great national coach,and with presence of Deco Chelsea's squad has the highest PROBABILITY to excel this season.

Talking about injuries,Manchester United's seems to have serious injury problem even though the season has not begin yet.Our team too seems to have some player's injury.Rosicky and Eduardo is injured since last season and they're yet to recover.Carlos Vela and Toure are injured too but they will feature tomorrow.

Our squad is still not big enough,and I still think THEY ARE PRONE TO INJURIES.I can be assured that our kids can produce a good challenge even to whole galaticos in Europe,but I don't they can do that with hamstring injury,thigh injury,injuries and injuries.

Our defending players have not changed much.Can any 4 or 5 of the 9 defenders in the first squad do good enough to play at least 3610 minutes in EPL(with 5 minutes extra time)?I don't think so.

Fabianski looks promising to be our reliable backup goalkeeper,but with his performance alone can't make our defence fool-proof if our defenders aren't strong enough.

Returning to tomorrow's game,I think we're able to get the important psychological three points at Emirates.If we can't,we will have trouble even at the beginning of the season.If we want to show that Arsenal are Top Four in EPL,we should have at least 3-0 victory.

I think we need to review what mistakes we have made so far that made us worse than our nearest rivals Tottenham this season.To me I think is size of our squad.

But what I want him to do is to make our squad bigger,and not ditching our current squad and bring another one.

I didn't expect our season could end with nothing for this time.We looked promising at the start,but we seems to lose our breath towards the end of the season.

Talking about the game,we put a great effort to win the game but the game just not going our way yesterday.Conceded through penalties and free-kicks are always frustrating.

ANd this shows that we need a BIGGER squad for next season,so we could rotate our players to prevent some players from being exhausted.

There is no return from our injured players.

Technical Details

This could be my last time writing about technical details in match previews,since I think I'm not qualified yet to write the technical side of football.

Anyway,I do think we should strive to attack at all cost,since their main defender Vidic is currently injured and their 2-2 setback against Middlesbrough shows that they could crack too.They are not invincible.

Again,I think Walcott is still better as a substitute,rather than starting him from the start of the game.

Sometimes we need too to control our defender from going too forward into the attack.Let these jobs to our midfielder and strikers.

For now we have three striking force,and we need to use them all together in this game.So,I think 4-3-3 is feasible for this game.

Overall

I really hope that we will have bigger squad next season.Fabregas has been stretched to the limit for now,and yet he has to play for this game.Ferguson on the other hand,has numbers of attacking options.

I don't agree with Wenger's statement that we should buy only one experienced player this summer.Read here

We should buy lots of FIT players,rather than buying physically challenged and easily injured players.We should buy more players like Sagna,Adebayor who could not be injured easily unlike our Rosicky,van Persie who injured for longer time then they play this season.

I'm going to make it simple today,because I'm not quite free now and actually I feel sad because I can't watch this game,the game what will define our season as well as Reds'.

Both teams have the quite same ability I must said,but for this time our mental fitness will be the factor today.

We could be split for force as we need to prepare for the game against Manchester United this Sunday,and that could define our season as well.Liverpool on the other hand,could put their 101% on this game.Perhaps it could be a slight advantage for them,but it's quite risky for them.

Wenger said that we have enough resources to win,but I'm not agree with his statement.I think we must have more than enough resources to win the title.Boro has really made the EPL title fight much more interesting with their fantastic game against the Devils.

I'm sorry to say that I didn't watch the game because I was busy at that time.

After seeing the result,I think our title hope is over already.We better concentrated on Champions League.

I expect Arsenal to win because Liverpool fielded a weakened team against us today.Benitez is probably starting to think about the 'next game'.

Another strange fact is Bendtner caused Gunners to draw twice against Liverpool,which you could think is bad or good for us.I have no comments regarding this.

AGAIN,we need to be more creative

I'm always thinking why we drop points in EPL recently,while Devils gobble up points and goals on their opponent's expense;and that's why we just can't score against Reds last Wednesday.

First,we lacked the creativity.Yes,we played slightly better games against Reds last time.But it seems that we need lots of energy wasted to just score a goal.Devils on the other hand,played much more easily to score.

Slick passing is Arsenal's trademark since Wenger era.And it's Wenger who make Arsenal look so exciting to watch.But I think some addition to slick passing will be even better,it could produce better results and most importantly,a more beautiful football.

Sorry to say,I rarely see Ferdinand or Vidic bring the ball until their opponent's penalty box.While it's good to see our defenders bring to penalty box,it leave Almunia alone when we encounter any counter-attacks from our opponents.That's why we are frustrated when we took a hard time to score a goal,they just equalise very easily.

And same goes to Liverpool as well.While Reds take a hard time to score,their opponent equalise easily.

We need to have more players in our squad

Somehow I think our squad is too thin.When some of our players are injured,we seems short of options.And it happens now.I'm more concerned about our defenders.I can't imagine who could replace Gallas and Toure,if they happened to be injured at a same time.

When I mean more players,it does not mean that we should go for a spending binge.We just need players that can qualify to replace our defenders while they are away.

First-Half

As expected,the game started quite furiously.Why not?It's a typical EPL game and that's what we expect from a EPL game.

We dominated the game,but Liverpool made a good progress by counter-attacking and careful defence.

Adebayor scored first for Arsenal with his header,and credits should be given to him because he really tried to get the ball.

But 3 minutes later,Reds equalised when Gerrard's cross managed to cross Arsenal's goal,and Kuyt just easily got the ball into the net.

We continued to get the possession but it resulted nothing in first-half.

Second-Half

We stepped up the tempo,but we were somehow unlucky and we weren't sharp enough.Liverpool,is satisfied with current score and defended more in the game.

Hleb's penalty appeal failed although it was a clear foul on him.

Overall

We weren't sharp enough in out attack.Control on the game means nothing if we don't score.Will post more later because I'm tired now.

Bacary Sagna will be out for this game.Other than Sagna,all other players that played against Bolton last weekend will be available.

Technical Details

In this stage,the most important thing is to have a strong mentality.Playing against Big Four in 10 days is no easy thing.I think this is the first time Wenger,or even Arsenal encountered such fixtures.

Ok,back to topic.We need to play more aggressively.We're playing at home so it would be mostly we control the possession and Liverpool playing for a good counter-attack since they have a lot of great shooter.Torres is more on short-range shooter so he would be useful for the case when Liverpool dominate the game.

We need to have a real goal scorer.When this person gets the ball,he must score.There are sometimes when we tend to overpass.It's very weird to have our defender to score.I still remembered in our 3-0 win against Liverpool long time ago,it was our defenders who scored all the three goals.Then what should our strikers do?Defend?

Overall

We need to kept focussed for at least 360 minutes,and even 390 minutes if needed.We need to beat the invincible Devils at Old Trafford,to have any chances for the title.

I don't think we could stretch our stamina that far but at least,give a good fight in these fights.

We need to win this game at least to have any chance to step into semi-final stage.

First-Half

We started the game very well.But it's home team to score first when Taylor headed handsomely for 1 goal lead for the home team.

Arsenal still kept the possession but it was somehow not good enough for us to equalise.We had some attacks but it was all off target.

Instead,Bolton got even better with 1 man advantage and a 2nd goal for them at 44th minute,when Taylor's shot was deflected by Gallas and Almunia could not expect it to happen.

Second-Half

AS everyone expected Gunners to attack for all cost,it was all wrong for the first 10 minutes in 2nd half.Bolton had the free-kicks,corners and all sorts of advantages they did not have at 1st half.But fortunately they did not score their 3rd goal.

Walcott and Adebayor's presence made the difference.Minutes after their presence in the game.Arsenal got their 1st goal when Gallas took advantage of our opponent's carelessness to defend at left-side of the goal.He just easily slanted the ball into the net.

5 minutes later,Arsenal managed to equalise with a penalty kick.Hleb was taken down in penalty box,and therefore entitle to a penalty kick.Persie,although is said to be 'rusty',he's still good enough to score a penalty kick.

After that,the game was totally open.It was anyone's game.Attacks were going at both sides.

But it was Gunners who got the 3rd goal at 90th minute.No Bolton players was able to clear Fabregas soft shot in the net.It marked an end to Gunners' frustration last 5 EPL games.

Same style,different result

I still can't find a reason why we drop points against Wigan and Aston Villa.We played a style that could be deadly even for a team like Manchester United,but yet we only scored at last minute of the game.

The problem now,is our players are somehow,physically challenged.Most of our defenders are short and thin,which is a disadvantage when we handles big-sized players such as Harewood etc.

In EPL,we need to play more aggressively,especially in this game when our opponents would be very physical to us.We should be more dynamic,and try our best to produce more counter-attack.But if we are behind,playing counter-attack seems stupid for us.

Our strikers are slow,because they sometimes need to pass the ball to wingers first before the wingers crosses the ball to them.And our attack is not smooth enough,for example our players will suddenly stop just before penalty box,and wait for strikers,or midfielder to take their ball.The problem is all defender will be back to defend against us,and I don't think this is a good counter-attack.

Somewhat I think Adebayor is too thin and I think he's more suitable for a header cross.Persie on the other hand will be better for ground cross.

Overall

We can only dream for the title,and it depends on M.United and Chelsea to realise our dreams.Even Wenger does not dream for the title anymore,and prefer to strengthen his team.Perhaps we can plan for the next season.

The tension always there when the Big Four clash,and this game is no different.

Ballack fired a dangerous free-kick at 5th minute,but Almunia did a great save to deny home team a lead.

10 minutes later,it's our turn to have a chance to score.However,Persie's shot just went wide.I guess he still finding his touch.

At 16th minute,Ballack again shot a shot but again,Almunia saved the attack.

Terry's sudden pass to Drogba at 24th minute could be Blues' best chance to score,but Drogba did not finish it well into our goal.

At 38th minute,Gallas could be scoring 2nd time against his former team but it just went to post.But anyway,it was offside.

Two minutes later,complication happened in front of our goal;lots of players trying to get the ball,but fortunately the ball went away from our goal.

Overall,Chelsea had a better game than us.We again lacked creativity,and again it's hard to attack against a great defending team without counter-attacking.

2nd half

At 54th minute,Drogba could score with one to one chance but Gallas did a good job to defend against him.

Arsenal scored first at 58th minute,when Sagna headed from a corner-kick to make Gunners lead with 1-0 score against Chelsea.

Ashley Cole had a chance to score an equaliser at 60th minute but his header was just too wide from the goal.

Ballack put his last shot before he's substituted but Almunia again denied his chance.At 71st minute,Blues equalised with his superb shot and Almunia can't do anything about this shot.4 minutes later,Anelka too put a hot but his attempt was just too poor.

Drogba again became our killer when he scored the winning goal to make Chelsea lead with 2-1 score.This goal was too,from his great shot.

Chelsea continued the possession,and we were just too weak to score any goals now.

Overall

Chelsea deserved to win this game.They had more possession,and Drogba factor again played a huge role over our 2nd lost game so far this season.

We can't score even when we had the control,and when we were dominated,the chances to score are microscopic.

And our Title chance is microscopic too.

Technical Details

Our last encounter with them had been showing that we played counter-attack against them.Chelsea had most of the possession but one mistake from Cech costs them three points.

This game could be very psychological game for us and it depends too on M.United vs. Liverpool result.If Liverpool managed to win the game,then this game will be very tense for both teams but if inverse happens,then it would be less tension between two teams but the tension will be still high because if Chelsea lose this game,then Avram Grant will bear a heavy responsibility for losing their home unbeaten record.

Again,counter-attacking game for us is sensible choice,considering the fact that we are playing away game against a consistent and a great opponent.

Playing Bendtner and Persie together will be a good choice if we play counter-attack games.Playing Walcott at 60th minute onwards will be a good move too as Chelsea players are quite aged,and power factor is what we need at such a critical stage.But if we happen to lose 3-0 at that time,then I don't think it's necessary;we need to think about the next game.

Our defence on the other hand,will be heavily burdened with the presence with superstars like Schevchenko(is my spelling correct?),Drogba,Anelka and many more from Chelsea's Roman Bank.I wish them good luck.

Arsenal must break the "Bridge" to build our "bridge" to our title dreams

This Grand Slam could decide the title winner,if we draw this game and Devils beat Reds.M.United will lead the table with 5 points and I don't think they will slip-up like we did.

It's our fault not to win the title.The FOUR consecutive DRAWS are utterly unacceptable and this deed clearly handed the title to Devils.

1st half

Starting of the game.we really dominated the game.Boro had some possession,but it was clearly shown that we controlled the game,with many dangerous attempts.

But it was Boro scored first with their great counter-attack,although it was quite controversial since the goal could be offside.But it was great goal anyway,and I wish we could score goals like this.

At 28th minute,Persie fired a cross but it just went out without contact with other players.I think Persie should shot the ball into the goal,since he's in the penalty box.

At 32nd minute,Eboue was held down in penalty box,but no penalty was given.Gunnners kept the possession well but they can't find an equaliser.

2nd half

Again,we kept the possession well.

At 47th minute,Persie fired a shot but it just went wide.

At 50th minute,Gallas attempt to score an equaliser failed when his header was way our of goal.But it was offside anyway.

Gunnners made double substitution.Persie was substituted by Walcott,and Sagna was substituted by Bendtner.Gunners tried to increase their attacking forces.

Fabregas got a really good chance to equalise at 65th minute when it was said to be one-to-one situation.But his shot was blocked by the goalkeeper's leg,increasing Gooners' frustration.

Fabregas tried an header at 73rd minute,but it somewhat slightly off-target.

The equaliser came at 85th minute,when Toure's header can't be saved by the goalkeeper,and credits should be given to the defender beside him,because he obstructed the goalkeeper.

Gunners's attack came in every second,but they failed to get three points in Emirates.

Comments on this game

I started to wonder why Gallas and Toure played just as they're the striker.They should focus more on their main task,that is to defend.Even they're bored to defend against Boro strikers,they should not too aggressive to attack.Leave these jobs to Adebayor and Persie.

It's very hard to score against a defending team,and our game story was just same like our game against Aston Villa a week ago.A sudden goal,then Gunners attacked like mad,and they got the equaliser.But they just can't get all the three points.

Nothing much to say about the players.There are no players return for injury nor players injured in last game against Wigan.

Technical Details

Play our usual 4-4-2,pair Adebayor with Persie,our great arsenal at the beginning of the season and I don't think we need major change in our midfield.Again,be more flexible in our game and I don't think we will encounter any problem unless we are unlucky in this game.

Playing against Boro is no different than playing against other team in EPL except the Big Four.Physical game,long balls and great counter-attack is characteristics of typical EPL team,and I think we should be able to cope with them,if we are in our best.

Overall

We had somewhat giving more hope for Manchester United to regain the title with our three consecutive draws in our last 3 EPL games.As Middlesbrough will not have desire to survive in Premiership(They will not be relegated for sure) nor to fight for UEFA Cup place(I don't think they will make it to 8th place),I hope we will encounter less fights from them.Our last three games had been against Birmingham(fighting for survival),Aston Villa(fighting for last UCL spot),and Wigan(fighting for survival in EPL) and of course our opponents will do their best to steal the three points against us.

We can't afford to drop points in this game since Devils will take the lead if we do so.And actually Devils could be the first in EPL with their one game in hand.

I was disappointed with the result.

From 5 points lead to 1 point negative,we seriously need to think about our game.

Yes,the pitch was horrible but that's not the excuse.We simply could not score in this game.We did let our opponent gain some possession to open up the game but it did not seem like that.

Our counter-attack was slow,and Wigan happened to defend well in this match.The game is not open enough for us to play our game.

It could be a tough game for us just like the game against Birmingham few weeks ago.Rumours had been spread that JJB Stadium pitch condition is very bad to weaken our slick passing.

Not only that,Wigan players could play very physically and I do think they will play just like the way Birmingham played against us.

So,attacking for the rest of the game could be bad for us,if Wigan proceed to just defend against us.Even we can score,it could be in small margin and we will really work to death to just score a goal.

SO if possible,we should try to open up the game by giving some possession to our opponent.Fabregas,Flamini and Hleb could do a great damage in midfield and our Ade could just easily deal with goalkeeper alone if our "triangles" could do a great penetration to Wigan's defence.

Overall

We can't afford to slip up anymore in EPL games.Manchester United and Chelsea had lost their FA Cup and they will focus their attention to EPL title.I'm scared we will have hard time to catch up with Devils if we drop points in this game,not mentioning our remaining fixtures which are very tough;we need to travel to Stamford Bridge and Old Trafford.

Our UCL fixtures must be tough for us,and we draw English teams,especially Chelsea and Manchester United,then we need to face one of them thrice.

What more I can say?We can control their attacks,and we made a good counter-attack to make it 2-0 for us.

The key of our winning was Fabregas' goal opener at 84th minute.As Milan will need at least 2 goals to beat us,they will attack us at all cost.And we finish them with superb counter-attack,thanks to Walcott's fast pace towards Milan goal.

This type of game is Milan's typical winning style;win by counter-attack.And now we beat them the same way they used to beat other teams,including Manchester United.

But I think there were not much attack in second-half,and most of possession was just on the midfield.I think the game will be stretched to extra-time if Fabregas didn't score the first goal.But the extra-time is an advantage for us,because we had more stamina than Milan.

OK,let's set our head to this weekend's game against Wigan.

I'm quite confused whether van Persie has recovered enough to play at San Siro.He is still on the injury news at Arsenal.com.But he has been named in the squad for this match.I hope he is really recovered now.I don't want to hear any injury news for Persie.

There is no return from our injured player currently so we face Milan with our current players.

Technical Details

Again,we need to defend against counter-attacks from Milan.To be frank,I don't think Milan could play attacking game for entire game,unless we had been thrashed 3-0 in just first-half.With their current squad,they don't have the stamina to attack for full 90 minutes.If the result is 0-0 after the 90+ th minute,they will play with a big disadvantage against our more powerful kids.

With Kaka who can score goals with himself,playing counter-attack is the wisest choice Milan can make,at least to my thinking.Their defence is not bad too.

On our hand,again and again we need to play with more creativity.If possible,force Milan to attack us and we will play counter-attack against them.But the problem is our counter-attacking skills is not too good,as our counter-attack will just stop at penalty box,and all defenders will have enough time to rush back to defend.This is not counter-attack.

So,we need to take initiative even at San Siro.We just need to play with more creativity and if we can score a goal first,it will be a very big psyhcological advantage for us.If Milan score first and the lead is just 1-0 for Milan,then I think they will pack 10 players to defend and maybe they left Kaka to counter-attack.

I assume Kaka is playing in this match,in case he's not here then another player will replace him.It's that simple I think.

Overall

What I expect from this game is our players must give a good challenge and good play at San Siro,even we lose this game.I'm not optimistic about this game,but of course I hope Gunners could win this game.I don't hope for another ugly exit;I'd enough already.Losing 5-1 to Spurs in Carling Cup,4-0 to Devils and I don't want another one here.

Again,and again we lacked creativity.And the worst is we lacked speed too in this game.

I don't have comments on Senderos' own goal.It was purely an accident and I don't hope for second.

Our shots on target almost equal to zero in first-half.We're going nowhere in first-half.How I wished the break will come sooner.We need to reorganise ourselves,after playing nothing in first-half.

In second-half,we were just like an "assassin" trying to kill someone but they were surrounded by many guards.We will have hard time to kill into the goal like that.And that's why we just scored one goal.It could be zero goal for us in this game.

The game must be open in order to Wengerball to achieve maximum power.Our game don't interact well with closed game.

Our counter-attack wasn't smooth today.We suddenly stopped our counter-attack to wait for our teammate to come,but at that time all defender will be in front of their goal.So,what's the purpose of counter-attack if we play like this?THIS IS NOT COUNTER-ATTACK.

We were lucky to have opportunity to score an equaliser just before final whistle,to deny Manchester United 3-0 win from pushing us down to second.

We must improve,or we're going to be teared apart at San Siro.

The good news for us is Persie is back to full training today.But Wenger will not rush him back and I think he's going to play in Milan's game next week.

Toure,Rosicky, however is out for the game and I don't think we will see them in nearest fortnight.

Again and again,we need to be more creative in our play.I expect some counter-attacks from Villa and we need to be very,very careful against them.No more silly mistake like last week's game.

Don't give mercy to our opponent;score as much as we can,score when we can score.

We need to use lots of ways to break into Villa's defence,should they play 10 players in front of their goal.Long passes,our infamous slick passing and even counter-attacks could be applied to this game.

Overall

I admit this game could be a tough game for us.I still remembered our last game against Villa at Villa Park.We did beat them but we didn't deserve all the three points.

Devils have almost 100% probability to beat Fulham tomorrow,and we must fight for the title ourselves and not by hoping other teams will do us a favour.

Like usual,I would like to refer to some interesting comments by Tony Cascarino;the narrator of this article.

"The defender’s becoming a liability, a laughing stock. He’s 30 years old, not 3. I don’t know what the players will make of his antics within the camp, but they can’t feel good about it. Gallas has developed the habit of berating his teammates when they make a mistake, waving his arms theatrically, pulling all sorts of faces. Of course the players would show some frustration when they meet such a situation when they just can't beat a team because of careless mistake.

I'm of course agree with his statement that Gallas made some silly actions in front of millions of people(including those who watched the game live from TV).But stripping off his captain band could be too cruel to him.

Players,being stars nowadays don't like to get scolded but that's the punishment you get when you're playing badly.

We were shocked by a violent challenge on Eduardo,and the game had to be "stopped" for about 8-9 minutes.Taylor wad awarded straight red card though.

We could be probably distracted by this incident.We controlled the game but we lacked sharpness and some creativity.As expected,Blues played their entire players to defend against us.

When you fail to score,we get punished.And this time,there in no exception.McFadden skillfully curved the free-kick to make Birmingham fans thrilled with 1-0 lead against EPL leader.

Then,we still control the game and had lots of attacks but it seems Birmingham who had quality of attack.

So it could be summed up that,we lacked creativity to score.Our attack weren't sharp enough.

2nd half

In second-half,we still dominated the game.

Our equaliser came when Ade's header made the goalkeeper lost the ball and Walcott scored his ever first EPL goal in this game.This made me thinking about Adebayor's first goal,which were also scored at St Andrews stadium.

5 minutes later,Walcott again took advantage that there weren't many Blues defender surrounding him and he scored again to make us lead by 1-0.

There were lots of chances where we could score but somehow,we lacked confidence and cold-blooded touch in this game.

Again,when you fail to score,you get punished.

At 92nd minute,Clichy careless mistake again costs us two points in EPL.Birmingham were awarded a penalty kick from Clichy's challenge at penalty box.

McFadden again just easily denied our 3 points at their home with his penalty score.

Comments on this game

What to say?I'm of course frustrated with this result.Hopefully it would teach us to be more cold-blooded in our play.

If Adebayor was more sharp and focussed in his finishing,no one will give a look on that penalty kick.We didn't score when we could,we think that 2-1 win is enough for us.

In fact,there were many times when we just let go our chance with finishing half-heartedly.And I hope we know to score when we can to.

Away games are always tricky for us,and this game is no different.We should be more creative in our attacking as I think Birmingham will play 9-10 players in front of their goal,and if possible they will try to exploit our defending mistake by counter-attacks.

So we must sometimes be more creative.We could give them some sort of possession for a while,make them confident that they could win this game and we're ready to show real Gunners when they're making mistakes.But our defence could not make mistake if we decide to play like this.

I still remember last time when Arsenal drew 1-1 with Birmingham at home,I was very frustrated and it were caused by our over dominance and lack of creativity.Over dominance is okay of course,but our lack of attacking creativity costs us two points in EPL.

Overall

As we are the first team playing this weekend,a win could pressure MU more by having 8 points gap before they play Magpies.A lost or stalemate would stimulate their game more.

There is a good news for us.Adebayor,Flamini and Clichy,who were on duty against Devils last week is available and Sagna is back too.

But Persie,Rosicky and Diaby is still injured and could not feature for this game.

Technical Details

From my point of view,we should strengthen our defence against sudden counter-attacks and set pieces,which section that we're weak.Especially with AC Milan's players' good experience,we should be very,very careful in our defence.We should give more attention to Kaka of course,he could demolish teams with himself and our demolisher,Manchester United is one of teams that get wrecked by Kaka alone.

We should have no problems with our attacks and what we need to do is to have more control on midfield and we are set to win easily,should God bless us.

Overall

This game is a must-win game for us before we visit Milan together with Liverpool.We must concede as less goals as possible as we concede away goals here.If we could do it I hope we could win for at least 3-0,if we want to have some security in San Siro.

It a funny fact that for so far this season,we got knocked-out with a big goal margins.Last time we lost 5-1 to Spurs,now we lost 4-0 to Devils.

"Nobody was fit on the bench and all of them were recommended as risky. The most dangerous to player was Clichy who I did not touch at all. The others had hamstring problems."

So why you made the triple substitution at first place.Do we want more injury problems to them?With 3 goals down and at Old Trafford,I think it's impossible to even get a draw,not mention a win.

If it's for consolation goal,don't you think we took a big risk just to entertain frustrated Gunners?

Devils dominated the possession from the start of the game and they did not wait for long to score after Rooney's header made United lead with 1-0 score.

Then,4 minutes later Fletcher made it miserable for us with his header to make the score 2-0 for Devils.

At 38th minute,Carrick's long pass to Nani proved another goal for United.Nani just easily kicked us for humiliating 3-0 defeat at Old Trafford.

At second-half,Gunners were left demoralised and at 48th minute,Eboue were sent out for his hard challenge to Nani.

Three minuted after Wenger made triple substitution on Fabregas,Hleb and Eduardo for Senderos,Flamini and Adebayor,we were conceded again for the 4th time after Fletcher again headed for Devil's 4th goal in this game.

Manchester United could win even 5-0 or more but they seems to had is enough to their enjoyment.

We totally lost our concentration and no wonder we lost on a such a high goal margin.

We were outplayed throughout this game and United really played well to my opinion;their counter-attack were quick and sharp against our "possessed" defender.

I guess our injury crisis has become more critical as even our top goal scorer,Adebayor is now injured because of muscular problem,as stated at Arsenal.com.

So the list of strikers available now are only Bendtner and Eduardo,and it could be only these two that will fight Devils in their place.

The only consolation is our main defender Eboue and Toure is available for this game as I think they should have sufficient rest after returning from African Cup.Diaby is featuring in this game too if I'm not mistaken.

Technical Details

Injury problems have limited our flexibility on our playing style.But I think our defenders have less injuries compared to our midfielder and strikers.

Therefore,I think the key now is to have a good defense and counter-attacks when we have a chance.Especially against one of the strongest team in EPL,our defense must be fool-proof and goal-proof.But we have strongest attack ever in EPL,based on the goals score in EPL.

Overall

We're quite unlucky to meet Devils and same goes to them.They may have strong attacks but same goes to us too.

With our current "bare bone" squad,I don't expect a win for us.A win of course will be good for us but we have more important things going ahead,UEFA Champions League game against Milan this Tuesday.

Of course it would very nice for to distance ourselves from the 2nd and 3rd spot,thanks to Man. City and Liverpool who made Devils and Blues dropped points.This shows we could have a good fight for the title,and silence all the pundits who talk bad about us.

Manchester United played not well against Man. City;their attack wasn't sharp enough and I didn't expect Devils to be beaten by their rivals.But football is round so we should not be shocked.

Chelsea vs. Liverpool match was not exciting at all.Same playing style,same attacking and defending style and it produced a very boring game and both teams will be not happy over this.

The fact that Liverpool dropped points last two days worsen for them when all their EPL rival that fight for the 4th place;Everton,Aston Villa and Man. City got their valuable 3 points.Portsmouth seems threatening too for the Reds.

Match report

All started well for Gunners,they controlled the match and Adebayor scored just 10 minutes from the start of the game.

Then.Gunners played even more aggressively and nothing could be done by Erikkson's side except defending.Ade tried to score one more but it's not his time yet.

At 26th minute,Eduardo's goal was simply stunning and well done.Praise to Adebayor too for his good header.Ade's header was better nowadays.

But 2 minutes later,Corluka exploited profitably Clichy's mistake to clear the ball or passing the ball to Lehmann and he gave the task of scoring to Fernandes,who just easily converted that mistake to goals.

But Man. City could not done better than exploiting mistakes.Gunners kept controlling the possession but no goals were produced until the half-time break.

In second-half,Man City could do nothing but to defend against powerful Gunners.They had some chance but their attack was just too weak.

Gunners finally finished Man. City hope to defend their home record when Ade scored again to give Gunners 3-1 win over Manchester City.

Match comments

We played very well today.Our passes were accurate and we controlled the game well.

But our defence was somewhat,not strong enough.Although our opponent had a little attack,but we nearly being conceded if Man. City's striker was better.Fortunately,Man. City's strikers were performing not up to par.

Our attack too was very good,but they somehow slowed down their attack themselves.A lot of time when we had chance to score,we just wasted them like that.

We were seem to attack without confidence today.Lots of overpassing happened.Final say,we could score more today,not just three.

This game could be tricky for us.4-4-2 or 4-5-1 or even 4-4-1-1 is possible now.If we found our midfield is weak,4-5-1 is a good choice.If our attack isn't strong enough we can always use 4-4-2 or even more extreme,3-4-3.But I don't think Wenger will play 3-4-3.

If we're playing counter-attacking game,4-4-1-1 is usable.

Final say,play with the play.If the course of the game require us to play certain style,then that style of play is the best if we know how to play them best.

Overall

This could be a good chance to us and Devils as well to clear their goal difference tension.Devils too have their danger visit to White Hart Lane.We travel to Manchester to North London and M.United travel from Manchester to North London.

I'm sorry I can't comment much because I didn't watch the game yesterday.

But from watching the highlights and my friend's comment about the match,we did created lots of chances and we could score even more and we could do it too the 6-0 score sheet did by Devils.

Our defense are much more solid compared to the last game's match.Maybe Wenger learned something from last weekend's match.

Flamini's goal was a screamer and how great if we could score goals like this every match.But a goal is a goal so the most importantly it is a goal.The 2nd goal was the Magpie's killer.

But of course credits should be given to our top scorer Adebayor who scored our first.Without his goal,we seems losing the "3 points" protection.

Let's see how Devils fared against Portsmouth tonight.

I guess there were no major players change from the players last game against the Magpies.Perhaps Walcott will not play in this game or he will play as midfielder,just like the last game's position.

Robin is still injured so he would of course could not play this game.

I don't think we should use the same way to beat them last weekend to play against them again.It's not nice to apply same skills to a same opponents.But I don't know what way we should play against them.Perhaps more direct shots but we must learn to shoot properly otherwise there will be lots of missed chances.

But again,if we defend carefully and we could dominate the game then the 3 points are in our bag.

Overall

This is EPL game so goal margin counts here,which means if we could beat them 7-0 and Devils beat Portsmouth 1-0,we are top of the table for more goal scored.We can't afford to be conceded even a goal,not mentioning dropping points in a match.

If we look from Magpies' side,they must strive hard not to lose the 2nd game against us in an embarrassing manner.So they should defend even more better and they could have better play against us compared to last weekend's.

We can't do much in first-half,could be due to Magpies tight defending.We did have some chances to score but our players somehow lacks understanding between each other.But we have more control in the game.

In second-half,we took even more control in the game and Eduardo nearly added his name to the score sheet 5 minutes after the 2nd-half started,but his shot just managed to bang the post.Adebayor however quickly shut-off our disappointment with his great shot to the goal to make us lead the game 1-0.

Newcastle did try some counter-attack on us but they can't do much on our defense.We got back the possession swiftly.

At 82nd minute,Adebayor killed Magpies' hope to get back into the game when he scored another one to make Gunners proudly lead the game 2-0.

Newcastle's game in Emirates became more misery for them when Butt scored their goal one minute before the game enters extra-time.

Comments

We played well in this game,but again our defense is just average.Credits should be given to Senderos because he did lots of good clearance.But if we play a team with good counter-attacking skills and we are dead.

Our passes were absolutely brilliant and Ade's goals were just great to see.

I think we will have lots to talk in this section.I'm shocked that Ade and Bendtner fight made more headlines than our 5-1 defeat in White Hart lane.

This means it's not good to play them together as striker,though Ade had apologized for this incident.Bendtner's father even labeled our Togonese as mad and this sparks even more the fire between them.I don't want we fight ourselves like Newcastle's player long time ago.

Since this game is a home game,this game must a-win game for us.If we lose or draw,we will lose our confidence and this will affect a lot our EPL game,especially another Magpies visit this Tuesday.SO we must field out our best to win the game.

I think we could just play our normal game,just we have to strengthen our defense to prevent ourselves to be advantaged by Magpies by away goals,should we draw this game.

We should be more calm and not too attack-minded until we forget our goalkeeper,thinking that only our opponent has goal bar.

Our attack was absolutely great,even against Spurs last Tuesday.So I won't worry much about it.But somehow,they should learn to be more flexible in ways they attack.Slick-passing is not only way to score;long-ball passing,long shots,quick-counter attacking are also ways used by many teams all over the world to score.

We were clearly humiliated in this game.We played well actually but our defense was rubbish throughout the game.

About Spurs first goal,sorry to say,it was just a lucky goal.About the 2nd goal,it was very ridiculous to us.It was scored by our own striker,Bendtner.

Spurs 3rd goal was a result of our poor defending but credits should be given to Berbatov and Robbie Keane for their accurate pass.Same goes to 4th goal.

We did create some hope with Ade's goal at 69th minute and he proves Wenger should play him earlier in this game.

Tottenham dashed Gunners hope with their defense-minded play and the worst come the worst,the fifth humiliation came at 90th minute when Jenas took advantage of our KO-ed team and Malbranque added goal to the insult.

Tottenham's defending was error-proof and their counter-attack was absolutely great.Our defending on the other hand was rubbish and our attack was average.Our strikers can't play other style other than slick passes.Adebayor was slightly better by playing more aggressive strike and it made our consolation in this game.

4-1 or 5-1,it makes no difference to us.We better think of ourselves now.And congratulations to Tottenham.Good luck to them in Wembley.

I think it is a very sensible move,considering our poor performance at Emirates in last-league and I don't think our youngsters would be able to cope with full-forced Tottenham in W.H.Lane.I'm not sure Wenger will play Walcott or not,but in my opinion it's best not to play him.

The only thing feared is I'm scared it's too late now.We should have done that in first-league.

But he didn't mentioned who he will play in this game.

Technical Details

Again,the best bet is our 4-4-2.There is no needs to play unusual formation unless the game requires.We are used to that formation.

About the striker pair,if Wenger decides to play his full first-team then it would be very likely that it's going to be Ade-Dudu.But other pair like Ade-Bendtner or Dudu-Bendtner is not a bad choice though.Persie is a very good choice but I'm very frustrated that he's injured again and I didn't even sure whether he could play AC Milan in February.

But somehow,we didn't really concerned about our attack.I'm concerned about our defense.According to the article ,but if our first-team defense is here then I would sigh a relief but overall,our defense is the poorest among the Big Four based on the goals conceded in EPL.

Overall

Again,we must score because we did let Tottenham escape with slight away-goal advantage.Hopefully we could qualify to Carling Cup Finals.

Late goals by Rooney and Ronaldo maintains their first place with their 2-0 win over Reading.

We beat Fulham 3-0 at Craven Cottage,thanks to their poor defense and with Fulham's current form,I could just wish them best to stay in Premier League next season.I think we're lucky not to face them in April,for they will play their 200% to stay in EPL.

Everton beat Wigan 2-0,Man City drew 1-1 with Hammers and tonights game between Liverpool and Aston Villa could be dreaded game too to Eriksson and Moyes.

Derby proved that they should be relegated to the bottom of the table with their 3-1 lost to Portsmouth,though they scored first in the game.

Blackburn drew 1-1 with Boro,Tottenham beat Sunderland 2-0,and Keegan still need time to integrate himself with his Magpies therefore their 0-0 draw is still forgivable.Let's see how they perform in Emirates next week.

Match report

Both team had a careful play against each other,both teams did not attack much and the explosion came at 20th minute when Adebayor headed again for Gunners first goal in this game.

After that,both team started to play more aggressively.Why not?Fulham too must try their best to take their points to prevent themselves to be relegated.

Dempsey did fire a shot but it was all wide and Almunia has easy task.

It's the same disaster to Fulham again.Adebayor headed another similar goal at 39th minute.At this time,Fulham's hope to gain a point is pretty microscopic.

In second-half,Fulham controlled more possession than us actually.But their play was unconvincing and their attack plan was poor.We could be called lucky but it's more to their problem.

Rosicky ended their domination of the game with his goal at 80th minute.Eduardo's cross made him ran so fast and kicked the ball to demolish their domination.

We controlled the game from the 80th minute onwards when Rosicky scored demolition goal but we too can't score anymore then.

Match comment

If I were given a rating over ten for this game,I would give a rating of 7/10.

Gunners were not bad actually but the way we played yesterday can't get us to the EPL title.

I didn't saw any Gunners superiority over Fulham other than better finishing.I can't imagine what would happen if both Ade's goals did not went into the goal.Another goal-less draw or just measly 1-0 win.I didn't want that.

In this stage,every win will be counted "4 points" for us;every goal we score(excluding the winning goal) will be counted "one point" for us.Why not?We must score as much goals as possible to get back into the first place.

We did get closer to EPL title actually,we beat Fulham 3-0 and Devils beat Reading 2-0 which means we win one goal difference between them.Though we still have another 6 goals margin to chase,we still have some hope as long as we keep winning,and possibly win with more than 3 goals margin.

Overall

I'm shocked that he leaves us so fast;I mean he only played for us for half-season and he's gone.

But I think he leaves us because he can't simply stand on the bench,playing lower-teams and the most unbearable fact to him is he can't be in the first team.He complained a lot about his first-team place problem.

West Ham hammers from behind to beat Fulham 2-1,and the top loser this week is Newcastle for sure after they lost 6-0 to roaring Devils,and Arsenal may be 2nd loser for this week.

Reading failed to take advantage from Chelsea's victory,all caused by Aston Villa who seems to be more determined to play Champions League this season.

I'm absolutely disappointed with this result.We should grab full three points from this game.Yes,Birmingham did their job well on defending but we should do a better job than them because we are the EPL leader at that time.

Now,we are forced to wait Devils lose points,or score as many goals as possible.

I did watch the first-half replay,and the main problem is we can't penetrate them good enough to score a goal and our possession were mainly focused on midfield game only,instead of going into the penalty box.

I didn't mean our players wants to waste time,I mean we can't find a proper strategy to score.And with our opponent's hope to only draw this game,we are pressed for trouble.No wonder Devils only squeezed a 1-0 win over them even in Old Trafford.

Senderos,Hleb and Adebayor is fit for this game.But Persie is out for this game due to flu.All our regular players can play this game when required.

Nothing but the usual 4-4-2.As Persie is out,the most probably striker pair is Dudu and Ade.If everything goes well,Bendtner could play as well but I don't sure whether he has completed the match ban or not after being red-carded in the game against Everton.

Overall

It should be easy game for us if we take it seriously.We can't afford to drop points in every match in this stage.

Other EPL match preview

Of course the most interesting matches this week are the match Newcastle vs. M.United and Chelsea vs. Spurs.As Magpies just fired Sam two days ago,it could be easy game for Devils if there are no managers to take over them in two days.

It's different now in the other game.Tottenham has recovered very well under Ramos's control.I think he has the process to change almost all his player.Chelsea on the other hand just hanging over their thread in all their wins recently,but it hangs at least.

I think the result is quite fair for both teams;Spurs dominated the game at first-half and we pressed back at second-half,though we didn't really manage to create some chances to score.

In fact,I think we had only one chance to score and thats where the equalizer came from.

Players

I'm quite surprised that Persie played first,instead of Dudu.Persie didn't really managed to break through Tottenham's tight defending and in fact,the whole team can't really dominate the game.

Persie was substituted by Dudu at 2nd-half,and Djourou was substituted by Sagna at the same time.But we already down 1-0 that time.

The Game

We can't create enough chances to score,I think we only created only one pure chances to score and thats where our goal came from.

We had to pay the price of playing our 2nd team midfielder.We somehow get bullied by more experienced players and we were controlled from the 10th minute onwards till the 1st half break.

I'm not saying that we should not play our youngsters in this game.In fact,this is a very good chance for them to see how typical EPL team could be.

Tottenham too created far more chances than we did but thankfully we defended it quite well and the luck was in our hands again.Their finishing was average.

I don't think we would field 1st team players,although we are going to face full-forced and high flying Spurs.It's our 2nd team players that gets us in semi-final and they should finish it,and hopefully they could get us the first silverware in this 2-3 seasons.

But as Persie has recovered now,he could use this match too to regain his feel on the field but I don't think he would play for full 90 minutes.

Denilson is facing match suspension,as he got a red-card during the game against Blackburn two weeks ago.

Technical details

Again 4-4-2 is the best choice now,Dudu and Bendtner could be the strikers,and of course the team that played against Blackburn could be played against them.

Overall

This match is considered must-win match for us,for we need to have some sort of advantage to get into White Hart Lane.But our players matters the most,and we must trust them to win the game.

I'm worried about this game,because our 1st team just win luckily 2-1 against Spurs last month and now we are going to play our 2nd team against the same opponent.But again,we must have faith with our squad and I think it's quite OK if we could give a good fight to them,at least.

We did show our respect to FA Cup,we did bring out most of our first team players and my expectation of some 3rd team players to play in this game was wrong.

Strategies

I don't think there was any side that used wrong strategy.Burnley's strategy to us was not bad actually.I don't think strategies used by any team will affect the match's results.

Player's performance(Gunners only)

We played quite half-heartedly this time,and this cause Burnley to control the possession throughout the game.But our finishing finished their possession control,and that shows our quality over the lesser team.

Gunners performance this time was average only,but it's enough to progress into FA Cup 4th round.

We still lead the table by two points,thanks to West Ham who beat Devils 2-1 last Wednesday.Devils too should be credited for their good job of "drawing" Hammer's full power,and we could beat exhausted Hammers easily at Emirates.

Manchester United keep fight for the Title with their narrow 1-0 win over Birmingham City.But somehow I expected the scoreline to be 4-0 or at least 2-0 since they are playing at home.

Chelsea too maintain their distance with the leaders with their narrow 2-1 win over Fulham.Kalou and Ballack scored to make Blues earn another important 3 points.

Liverpool surprisingly dropped points at Anfield,which means Man City's 2-0 win over Magpies enables Man City to take over the 4th spot.

Everton have gave their full fights to Champions League spot after they beat Middlesbrough 2-0.Aston Villa just did enough to beat high flying Spurs 2-1 at Villa Park.

Portsmouth join the fight with their 2-0 win over Reading.Blackburn follow suit with their narrow 1-0 win over Black Cat.

So the next EPL game with be at least a week from now.And at least we could be lead EPL table for another week.Let's set to another silverware,FA Cup.

Great game by us,a very relaxed game for us since we scored early and we can get to see how annoying we are.

1st Half

Eduardo scored just 2 minutes after the game started.A great finish by him.This is expected by Gunners best finisher.

Hammers tried to came back into the game.Ljungberg did tried too to test our defense and he proved it tight.Sadly he get substituted early of the game,because of injury I think.

Though West Ham had slightly more possession than us,we proved that we are better when Ade headed for a surprise goal for Gunners.A lucky goal for us I would say,but Ade made it right to make it 2-0 for us.

Both team created some chances but there are no goals after that.

2nd half

It's quite enjoying to watch our team played to enjoy themselves,and it's rare to see a game like that.

We did created some chances.Adebayor did tried some "ball jumps" but it was wide from the goal.Hammers did tried to score a inspiring goal but we denied them.

75th minute onwards,we showed Hammers how boring we could be to them.I think they were bored too but they are forced to watch them anyway.

Overall and comments

A very safe game for us.Three points was taken easily from them.Hammers didn't manage to challenge our defense and this game is the safest game for us so far this season.

As we are playing at home,the best is to play 4-4-2.We should be more flexible with our opponent's tactics.I can't talk much about what players should play because I don't think it will make difference in the game.What I mean here is in midfield position.As Bendtner and Persie is sure out for this game so the only option available is Dudu and Ade.

West Ham should practice open game against us,which I think is good for us but it would be bad to us as well if we can't control the game.

Overall

Yes,it could be two sides revenge,West Ham wants to revenge their 1-0 lost to us and we want to revenge our only home defeat to Hammers.We could see them beating Devils last weekend so we should be more careful against them.I still remembered that I immediately switched off my TV because I saw Gunners conceded two goals against them in just 40 minutes at Highbury.

Arsenal didn't play their best actually,but I'm very glad that Everton made such a lot of decisive mistake,and of course the fact that we could exploit them profitably makes us top of the table again.

Everton played a good game actually,they have a quite strong midfield and strikers but their defense was absolutely rubbish.Same goes to them when playing Devils last weekend when they lost to a penalty that was caused by a silly tackle.

First half

It's nothing wrong with our team until the 10th minute onwards.We started to lose out possession and that's where the nightmare started for Gooners.

Jim Cahill's goal at 20th minute was resulted from placement of Bendtner.If he wasn't there then the ball will went wide.

Then,it's downhill for us.We passed the ball weakly,our ball control was bad and we can't harm them.Everton was good in air so they could easily gain possession from a long ball pass.

Second-half

It's Everton fans nightmare now.Eduardo equalized just 2 minutes after 2nd-half started.Clichy's long ball had succeeded to fall on Eduardo's control.No doubt,he is the best finisher in our squad.I don't sure whether Ade could score in such circumstances.

At 58th minute,he made it again.It was about the same goal except it was not from a long ball.

Bendtner was out at 73rd minute following a harsh tackle to Johnson.

About the red card awarded to Bendtner,I think I will accept it since it's not a red-card anyway;it was the second yellow card that sends him out.Why Bendtner made such a silly tackle?If he didn't made it we could play him and Adebayor together,that's the best time to do such an experiment.

Another stupid mistake by Everton's defender made Ade score finally.It's hard to miss such a chance.I think David Moyes should look back on their team's mistake now.

Rosicky took advantage again from Everton's demoralized play to score Gunners 4th goal in this game.

Arsenal must forget their last game and head on to Goodison Park to beat Everton in order to maintain the hope for EPL title.

In our last game,I think we had played with a team with more closed game but I think Toffees would not play like that.While it's good for our playing style,their counter-attacks are always deadly for their opponent's.A team that could make Devils struggling in Old Trafford and only lost on penalty is a tough team of course.

Yes,their tactics was somehow unethical,but it's legal and we should blame ourselves for the game.As we progress more,our EPL opponent could be just want to draw against us and not lose the game.It's better than playing their usual game and lose 4-0 to us.

The key to win the title,aside from consistency;and the key for consistency is flexibility in our style of playing.

Technical details of the game

But I could not understand why Wenger refused to play 4-4-2,and always use 4-4-1-1.We know that Ade sucks being alone as strikers.

We should be more flexible with our opponent.If Everton plays an open game,then we could play our usual passing but if they play closed game like Portsmouth did,we could try to shoot more and play more to Liverpool's style.

We can try too the combination of Ade and Bendtner.I think it's better like that.

Gunners stumbled to 2nd place after facing a colorless draw at Fratton Park.

It's pretty hard to play our usual football against a very closed-team;a team that tend to defend more than attack.It can be concluded that Portsmouth just want a draw from this game,and they got it.

I think we should shoot more in this game,rather than playing our usual passing game because just as I said before,it's very hard to play Wengerball against a solid-defending team.Yes,I mentioned before in my previous post that Pompey's defense isn't strong enough,but the problem is their main task today is just to defend,so it isn't that hard anyway to defend with 11 players,against 10 opponent's player.

SO the main problem is actually we didn't play a freer game this time,most of our passes were blocked efficiently by ex-Gunners Campbell and other defenders.Again,we were slightly "outphysicalled" by our opponent's defender.

We did let them have some counter-attack to open up the game,but they still scared to counter-attack more bravely.

Now it's time for us to trail Devils now.

We did had some chances through,but not a lot as usual.

The very good thing for us is no one is injured I think,so we could play them with full team,if Wenger wanted anyway.

But playing Pompey away from home could be a tricky game for us,and with their full of pace strikers like Benjani,we could out-physicalled by them.But I'm sure we can break their defense as I don't think their defense is strong;I mean they could make mistakes easily and of course I hope they will make more in this game.It's up to us to exploit that.

I'm still think that we should use Ade for this game,despite the rise of Bendtner recently.Though his finishing is somehow quite poor,but he has more shooting power.We could substitute him with Bendtner,if he performed badly.

Or we could use both together,and Persie will not play in this game.Sometimes we have to do some experiment.However,I don't think we should risk our valuable three points for this combination.

Robbie's Keane missed penalty kick proved costly to the team as Bendtner quickly came in to punish them.

But it's Arsenal who got the header just 2 minutes after 2nd-half started.This goal is really typical Gunners goal;it was produced by great passing,and the best of all the finishing was Theirry Henry-like.

Gunners continued to control the game.But somehow Spurs managed to equalize,thanks to Keane's great back-heel kick to Berbatov.We can't blame our defense on this goal.

But Toure's tackle on Berbatov nearly costs us the game,and it could be EPL title as well.I didn't see the need to foul someone in that time.Berbatov can't do anything dangerous there.

Bendtner's goal just after he came in was absolutely fantastic.He really took the opportunity by himself.This is the first-time I saw a Gunners jumps that high to head the ball into the net.

And again,we had the same weaknesses;we tend to relax a little bit after scoring.But luckily it was not on defending,it's on out attacks.I think we should try our best to gain as many goals as possible,especially in this match we had plenty of chances to score.

But glad the three point falls to our hand again.Luck was on our side.

Thankfully our 2nd team can ease our 1st team's burden a lot,and yet can help us progress in Carling Cup.So I think we could play with full force now maintaining our good records against Spurs and our unbeaten home game so far.

Technical details of the game

We can play the formation we used against Chelsea I think.As Tottenham play a very good counter-attack now,we need to be careful when we are attacking them;I'm scared that we will slack on our defense then.Especially with our "attacking defender",it's going be tiring for our defenders to defend and attack at same time.

But if we can score,we can weaken our opponent's form at least a bit and keep controlling the possession.That's the key to win.Play our game and don't let them gain the possession if possible,because that's expected by me and all fans here.

About the formation,I think the start-ups will be 4-4-2.If everything going well,we can sub Adebayor with Bendtner.I think we should play him more,he has the potential.

A great game by our players actually,and with only 10 players remaining in 30 minutes extra-time,we really showed a great stamina to win the game.

First-half

We controlled the first-half as we managed to score first.This increased our confidence in this game where we were playing against one of the top 10 teams in EPL with our second team players.

Bendtner could add his name to scorer list but too bad,his shot just managed to hit the goal post.

After Eduardo's first goal,it seems it would be gonna like our game against Sheffield.But Rovers can't let them happen.

Blackburn managed to score 3 minutes before half-time break,and Santa again scored after scoring hat-trick last weekend.But sadly their defense was just too poor last time.

Second-half

Blackburn regained their domination in the game;lots of free-kicks and corners were taken at our defence and at 59th minute Santa made it 2-2 for Rovers.

Then,Arsenal played more aggressively but still the initiative in Rovers hands.

The game became more exciting to watch at 80th minute onwards,when both teams had their dangerous attacks.

Overall game

Thank God that the luck was in our side.But we played greatly to gain the luck.

But somehow,our counter-attack wasn't went very well in this game.The main problem is we can't find someone to be responsible to finish the chance.

Most of the players tend to overpass,and all our players refused to take a shot.And finally our opponent's defender took the ball away.

Our defense had improved as well,and at least in this game no more silly passes and free possessions to our opponent.

There are even some players that I didn't even know them.The worst is we didn't have a lot of first-team substitute if we needed to.I don't sure whether we could beat them or not.A draw will suffice for me actually.

I'm not looking down on our "third-team" players but I don't think they could cope with first-team Rovers.But of course this is a very good chance for our players to gain a lot of experience from this game.

Arsenal kicked back Devils to be EPL leader again after Gallas's header heads Arsenal a point ahead of them.

I'm sorry that I can't comment a lot about this game as I'm away from home.But I heard that Arsenal played counter-attacking game after first-half,when we took that 1-0 lead.

That means we played like Devils played against us last time,and that is a very wise tactic to play.With our attacking force boiling at full,we could counter-attack easily when we needed to.But of course credits should be given to our defense squad,and mainly Almunia,who had saved a lot of killer shots from Blue Lions.

Ok,about Liverpool vs. Manchester United game,Liverpool had the most possession and initiative,and yet they have to lose.That's because Devils have a good counter-attacking.We almost lost to them actually,but again,our captain saved us a embarrassment.

And EPL just gets more interesting.We and Devils have a top-two fight,Chelsea,Man. City and Reds had another fight.I'm not saying Chelsea is out from title race,but I think this is the correct way to classify teams within the certain point.
